Why FluviaPro
The trade deserved better than paper and spreadsheets
Inland shipping moves millions of tonnes every year. Yet on board and in the office alike, everything still ran on handwritten logbooks, binders of certificates and spreadsheets re-typed at night.
Our goal: give self-employed bargees and inland shipowners back the time, the peace of mind and the modern digital tools their trade deserves, without having to become IT experts.

While road, rail and logistics went digital, inland shipping stayed the blind spot. Not for lack of need, but for lack of a tool built for it. Generic software ignores locks, consignment notes, the VNF vignette, the regulatory logbook, and the reality of a wheelhouse with no signal in the middle of a reach.
So we took the problem the other way round: start from the field. FluviaPro is built with working bargees and shipowners, foremost among them Pascal, a bargee and pilot partner, to fit their real days, their inspections and their emergencies.
The result comes down to one simple idea: a single purpose-built tool, from the wheelhouse to invoicing. Onboard entry that works with no signal, the VNF logbook that keeps itself, contracts and invoices read by AI, certificates watched over. All hosted in France, under your control.

Lawyers have their AI. Doctors, architects, tradespeople. Why not the bargee? Meet Fluvi.
Fluvi is different from generalist assistants: it knows who is in your crew, where your fleet was the day before yesterday, when each patente or certificate expires, and it speaks your trade (locks, VNF tags, ES-TRIN, ADN).
It also knows your boat in detail (engine, exact references of engine parts, parts already replaced, next oil change, hold capacity by draught), your crew's working time, what's in your contracts without reopening the PDF, and it assembles your monthly summaries on demand. On the Premium plan, it also builds your statistics on demand: plot a diesel curve over 12 months, compare tonnage by customer, ask for tonne·km this quarter, you phrase the request in your own words, it shows you the result. The data is in FluviaPro, so it has access.
And it no longer just answers: ask it to create a maintenance task, schedule a voyage, add a part to inventory, and it does it directly in FluviaPro, with confirmation before every action.
Your data never leaves FluviaPro. When you ask a question about a boat, the chatbot only looks at yours, never another shipowner's. Your data is never shared with anyone. You are the only one who sees what you see.

Your AIS transponder already receives every VHF frame from boats within 5-30 km around you. So far they only fed Periskal or the on-board ECDIS screen. FluviaPro Splitter v2 now pushes them to your tablet too, with zero storage and no extra fee.
On the voyage map, each neighbour becomes a marker oriented to its heading. On click you see the MMSI, ENI, name, dimensions, draught, destination, ETA, ADN cones, crew on board. In the voyage log, a "Nearby boats" tab sorts these neighbours by distance, tells you whether they're approaching, crossing or moving away, and computes the CPA and time to the closest point of approach.
No database row, no storage cost. Everything lives in server memory and is purged 5 minutes after the last frame. The captain's tactical radar, included for every subscriber.

One single address: document@fluviapro.fr. Forward the contract received from your forwarder, the supplier invoice, the signed letter of voyage, from your usual mail client (Outlook, Gmail, Zimbra…).
FluviaPro recognises your sender address and files the email in your organisation. Strict multi-tenant isolation: no other shipowner ever sees your mail. Attachments (PDFs, scans, photos) are stored encrypted on OVH Gravelines, linked back to the email.
For each PDF, or photo taken with a phone of a letter of voyage, an invoice or a certificate, you pick transport contract, letter of voyage or invoice. FluviaPro AI extracts the fields, you validate the deltas, the document is created in the right section,no re-typing.
